Bluegrass straight from the heart of Maine!!

Chairback Gap is the valley between Columbus and Chairback mountains, located in the north Maine woods. It is also the name of one of Maine's premiere bluegrass bands. From Lake View Plantation, Maine, Elise and Kevin Sproul, Formerly of "Rare Birds", are joined by Terry Spearrin and Bernie Staples, both from the Skowhegan area, who were in the band, "Good Clean Fill". Drawing on influences as diverse as country, blues, rock, folk, traditional and new bluegrass music, "Chairback Gap's" harmonies and innovative sound will surely please audiences with a wide variety of musical tastes. Catchy original tunes are also included in this band's repertoire.
